A few weeks ago I got an email from Peeled Snacks asking if I wanted to try some of their fruit snacks. I had seen their snacks at Starbucks and had always wanted to give them a try. Peeled Snacks are organic, gently dried fruit snacks that have no added sugar, oil, or preservatives. I received three kinds: much-ado-about-Mango, Apricot-a-lot, and Farmer's Market Trio. I had a dance event on Sunday with my dance club so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get my friends opinions and try something new. Plus, when we're dancing, we don't want sugary treats. We started with the much-ado-about-Mango. First off, I opened the bag and got a huge whiff of mango (which I love). At first the texture was a little weird for me, but I soon found that I was eating these nonstop while chatting with my friends. Everyone else liked this one, but not as much as I did. Then we tried the Apricot-a-lot. This one was probably my second favorite. My friends Brittany and Jordan absolutely loved this one though. I wasn't getting enough apricot taste for my liking and was getting too much raisin texture but I was told I was wrong and it definitely tasted like apricots so I'm guessing it was just me on that one. Next we tried Farmer's Market Trio. There's cherries, raisins and apples in this pack. I have a slight confession... I really do not like cherries. So I had a hard time trying this one. I tried the apple slice and really liked it. But I could not get myself to try the cherries. After picking out the apples to eat myself, I gave the pack to Brittany and Jordan who happily ate the cherries and raisins. After asking my friends which was their favorite most said the Apricot-a-lot or the Farmer's Market Trio. My favorite was the much-ado-about-Mango. I guess that means more mangoes for me!
