I really though that the snowflakes would be my favorite Christmas cookie this year but then they turned out to be my least favorite and that these mittens quickly became my favorites! Just like the ornaments, the mittens were so fun to decorate and try out some techniques I saw on other blogs. The small mitten on the left was by far my favorite cookie out all everything I made. I just love how the dots are slightly faded- I feel like it gives it a slightly vintage look. The red was once again Wilton's Christmas Red and I still have no idea how I got that color green, just some lucky mixing I suppose. I didn't color the royal icing to be white and haven't had a problem not doing that yet but if you are nervous about it I would recommend coloring it white. Enjoy!

Probably could have done a much better job staging this but I'm still learning and I like that I can see all of the designs.
