I just think that these mini ornaments are the cutest little things. I wasn't planning on making these until I bought a pack of Christmas cookie cutters for $3 from Michael's 2 days before Christmas. My original plan was to only make snowflakes but I am so glad that I changed my mind. For the red coloring, I used Wilton's Christmas Red gel. For the yellow coloring I used Wilton's Golden Yellow. The green was a mixture of various blues and yellows.. I couldn't find my green gel so we had to improvise. I wish I could tell you how I got that color because I ended up really liking it. I had way too much fun individualizing each of these ornaments, there are so many possibilities. Next time I'm going to try to personalize them for members of my family by writing their names on them. Hopefully my handwriting will improve by next year... After I post about each individual cookie I will talk about some of the techniques I used. I thought about putting them all into one post but there are too many pictures to choose from!
